Street Photography for the Street
In addition to my regular original photography masks, I have added new three-filter fitted masks to my store. Who knows how long we're going to be dealing with Covid-19? These masks have the recommended three layers, including two cotton inner layers and a polyester outer layer. Yes, they have nose wires! Yes, they have toggle-beads! Two sizes are available, and I'm adding new original photo designs on the regular.
If you don't dig any of my mask designs, be sure to check out the many, many other artists offering masks, and all kinds of other photo goodies on the site. Support independent artists! It's like shopping local for the internet!
Be safe out there, friends.

Mask Up with My Original Photographs!
Face the Pandemic
I've created custom face coverings out of some of my favorite street photos, and you can see all of them right here at my shop.
These non-medical face masks are made of two layers of 95% polyester/5% spandex fabric with a print on the outside layer. (They fit well over a basic surgical mask, if you want to add an extra layer.) If you buy any four, you'll get 20% off.
I don't know about you, but I'm tired of hospital-blue and basic black masks...

GeoGuessr in the Time of Covid-19
What is a street photographer to do when it's been five months since Covid-19 shut things down?
by Laurie Allee
Burbank in The Before Times |
Before the pandemic, being a street photographer in the U.S. came with a few negligible risks: sunburn, dirty looks, and the ever-present threat of drivers texting instead of looking at pedestrian crosswalks. In Los Angeles, occasionally someone would think you were part of a film shoot second unit and ask what movie you were working on. (You'd get great shots if you said something like, "I'm not really allowed to talk about it...") But as long as you didn't trespass, get caught in a street fight, try to take pictures of a crime or wander into too many dark alleys, you were usually pretty safe to meander around in public with your camera.
Covid-19 kind of changed things...

Street Photography...Off the Street
Gonna have to rethink my subject matter as a street photographer in the age of COVID19 lockdown. Stay tuned...
